The first edition of Angolan dances Festival in Lisbon April 2023!

Born and created from the true desire to offer a unique and wholesome cultural exhange between Angola and rest of the world!

Various Angolan dances, with many teachers directly from Angola, will be presented with an incredibly versatile program offering a full of cultural immersion. Angolan dances weekend will be filled with dance, music, great food and dance friends, old and new, offering authentic cultural exchange at its best!

The event will feature:

- Concerts by renowned Angolan musicians

- Several teachers coming directly from Angola and the diaspora

- Dance workshops (Kizomba, Semba, Kuduro, Afro house, traditional Angolan dances)

- Angolan gastronomy

- Presentations (Shows) of various Angolan dances

- Parties & socials

- Deejays

Out of the capitals in Europe, beautiful and versatile Lisbon, bustling with different arts, was selected as a place of venue for its dynamics in the development of Angolan dances. Lisbon has been The Place to go in dance tourism for years and years and what could be more fitting than spending the world dance day, April 29th, here enjoying this wonderful city.

The event will take place between the 28th - 30th of April 2023, right in the heart of the city, at Estúdio Time Out Lisboa (Mercado da Ribeira).
